Definitely. As long as all the components are compatible you'll have no problems. Even if it doesn't you can program it to if you have the remote. This device controls both RF and bluetooth signals with the HUB
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it will work for your needs. It is the only remote that Logitech offers that has RF (Radio Frequency) for the controls. Meaning, you do not need line of sight to control your devices. They can be inside a cabinet or behind a wall. As long as you have the RF system setup, you will love this remote. Cheers!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will work with IR extenders, you would set the hub in the closet with the DVR Box and run the tiny (half-dollar coin size) extender out of the closet so the TV's sensor can pick it up, ours are about 15 feet from the TVs. BTW my TVs are in the viewing area and the sound system, TiVo, DirectTV, PS4 and Apple TV are in a closet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will work if you are fine with aiming the physical remote at the TV (harmony remote DOES still have an IR sensor, just in case of this (or if wifi is down) and keep the hub and mini blasters in the closet (which you may have to program that upon setting it up)...HOWEVER, if you plan to or want to be able to just use the Harmony app on phone/tablet or be able to control it from the cloud this is what I did with my father's Samsung on his wall...we put the hub in the closet (which is right next to the fireplace the TV is mounted above) and took one of the mini blaster cables (note: comes with two: each 8.3 ft long)(and you can also get an extension for that if necessary) and I ran the mini blaster through the wall where the power cord goes to the TV-- take double-sided tape and stick the flat side of the mini blaster to the BACKSIDE of the TV right behind the TV's IR Sensor (the red standby light). When you mentioned Samsung I know how sensitive the sensor is on those so if you get the mini blaster mounted in the right position (Note: you may have to make a tiny adjustment for it to work properly, be ready to test it when you stick it on the TV). You can also tell the Harmony which blasters to send commands to for each device. If you are able to do this, the TV will catch the command, no wires or sensors will be visible, and if the remote's battery dies or you can't find it (lol) you will still be able to fully control your system with the Harmony App on your mobile device. I hope this is helpful! Good luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the hub can be placed inside a cabinet as it uses RF.
