“Will this improve a remote's signal? My Harmony 950's signal seems to be weak. It does fine controlling my TV; it struggles with other components on lower shelves of my open stand. Will placing the Hub/IR blaster on the top shelf improve the 950's signal?”

• I don't have the need for the IR blaster option so I can't say for certain, but that is supposed to be its purpose. Place the IR blaster somewhere in front of the devices that aren't getting a strong signal. This is really helpful for devices that are in a cabinet behind doors, screens or tinted glass.

• What I can tell you is it works really well with my devices. They are all around 10 years old.
