• Hello. The remote that comes with the Elite bundle can be paired with any of our Hubs. Keep in mind, a Hub can only be paired with a single remote, and a remote can only be paired with a single Hub.

• If it's the NEW Elite (black with the screen on the top and non replaceable battery. That is exactly why I bought this. I had purchased the remote by itself for my mother bit she wasn't always pointing at the unit to control. Doesn't matter now as these two talk wireless and the hub handles the infared.
