• Yes, the remote screen can be cleaned easily. Go to remote settings and turn on the screen lock. Clean until your heart is content.

• Same problem here have to basically take it to a different room away from devices and clean it. That's what I do anyway.

• I would recommend cleaning the remote when all your devices are powered off. Activate the screen lock to clean the screen and just avoid hitting the power button on the top of the remote.
