• There is not a screen protector. I bought a separate film and put it on the screen. I don't think a tempered glass screen protector would work well. It could be too thick.

• There is the cover part that covers the screen when the IPad is closed. I hope that answered your question!!!

• When I carry mine, the keyboard folds up and covers the screen for protection. When I don't have the keyboard attached, I purchased a glass screen cover for it. When you place it face down on the table without the keyboard attached, the cover holds the screen off the surface with a 1/8" lip around the edges.
