“Is this normal for my mouse? The mouse that is advertised in here shows it having a small light shining out of it on top of the mouse but my mouse doesn't have that or show that at least....Is that normal”

Yes, the light comes on when you first turn on the mouse and it will start to flash red when the battery starts dying

Please try again later.The light turns on just for a few seconds when you turn on the mouse or when it has a low battery level, if the light doen't come up at all, make shure that all the drivers are properly installed, try installing the logitech software, you can find it in here: http://support.logitech.com/product/wireless-combo-mk520#download Download and install the setpoint installer, i hope that helps you
