I don't have a laptop. Will the mk520 combo still work? null

I am assuming that you are asking if the MK520 works on a desktop computer. If so, the answer is yes, if you have an available USB port.

I've used it with both a laptop and Desktop with no issues. If your BIOS has settings to enable a USB mouse and keyboard you may want to enable these to allow the BIOS to recognize these devices as well as wired devices for setting BIOS values. My older desktop needed this setting changed since it expected a wired keyboard and mouse. My newer Laptop and probably most newer desktop systems will not have or need the setting changed. YMMV
