Q: QuestionThe site says it comes with 4 items (mouse, usb charging cable, pico unifying receiver and manual). First, it does NOT come with a manual (but that is fine). But it does have what looks like a small nickel-size battery. What is that?

When my right hand becomes tired from using a mouse, I trained myself to just move the mouse to the other side and leave the mouse buttons as they are, so that can be done also.

• A:Answer That is up to the user; some laptop users prefer to use the built-in touchpad, some use the little "joystick" in the middle of at least some Dell laptops, but a mouse or trackball is preferred by others. So, it depends on what you prefer. With a Bluetooth mouse and newer Bluetooth laptop, you do not need to plug a USB dongle into a USB port on the laptop, which is great.

Q: QuestionDoes it operate quietly? The last Logitech Bluetooth mouse I bought is awesome except for the fact that it sounds like an old style wall switch when you depress the buttons; very audible clicks that do not bode well in the conference room.

• A:Answer I'd say this mouse is about average in sound. It's not louder than any other mouse I've had. However, the clicks are audible and if there is a lot of scrolling it can be loud. However, if you press the mouse wheel it will scroll faster without any noise.
