This has only soft rubber pads that come in contact with the screen, and it has not in any way scratched my screen. The design keeps the actual keyboard quite a ways (maybe 1/8") away from the screen when it is closed up. On the other hand, the quality of construction on the keyboard is very poor and mine became non-functional after about 3 - 4 hours of total typing time over the first 15 days of ownership. The inner-workings of the keyboard appear to have bowed up and are pushing the space bar and adjacent keys up so that the space bar is stuck on all the time. I've filed a warranty claim.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t think the screen touches the keyboard when closed. I’ve been using mine for about a week and a half and I haven’t noticed any scratches. I don’t currently have any protection on my screen.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not had any issues with this yet, but i see your concern. You may want to consider an extra ballistics glass, just in case. The case will still function perfectly if you put one on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We bought a glass screen protector for the iPad. There are scratches on the screen protector. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The keyboard doesn’t touch the screen at all. There shouldn’t be any scratches.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was worried about the "scratching the screen" possibility but purchased anyway and have been using for 5 or 6 weeks now with absolutely no issue. I did notice a small rubber bumper on the one edge of the keyboard that must hold it away from the screen just enough not to scratch!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The keys do not come in contact with the screen unless you apply pressure. There are some bumpers on the keyboard which help keep it off of the screen, let alone the outer case keeps the screen recessed slightly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven’t had any issues I would suggest the glass screen protector on your iPad no matter what but right now I have none and I don’t believe when it’s closed up that the keys even touch the iPad. The outside acts as a shell.
