This is an iPad case but the keyboard is built into it. it folds up and protects the iPad's screen and latches closed with a magnetic flap, but when you fold it out you can prop the iPad up on a little magnetic bar above the keyboard and use it.

It gives it extra bulk this way but hey you still have the keyboard and case option with just actually using the iPad in regular portrait mode. I’d suggest getting another case if you don’t always want the keyboard or don’t use it often because otherwise it just gets too in the way. I’ve grown accustom to even having it propped up in landscape mode anyway even when I don’t use the keyboard because it can be propped up this way and is easy for me to use anyway. Hope this helps...
