Sometimes a PC needs to be 'coaxed' to find and properly identify new hardware. If youre still having problems after several attempts, just install Logitech's mouse and keyboard app. It runs in the background and enables all the functions and settings for all 4 buttons, and offers more fine tuning options, too

The Trackman Trackball Mouse has drivers out up to Windows 10, although it may work on Windows 11 at a certain point, nothing official has been released as of yet. I would try and install the older SetPoint software if you haven't done so from this page: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-ca/articles/360024701174--Downloads-Wireless-Mouse-M510 (again, this is for Windows 10, but I would give it a try on Windows 11 still), as this was the software compatible with the Trackman Trackball Mouse, and see if that helps.
