I dont think it will help with the headphone. this device receives bluetooth and so you can send signal from devices but it will only transmit output as AV or auxiliary.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe not. The Best Buy page on it mentions it streams audio FROM a bluetooth device. It comes with a multipurpose cord, dual RCA for L & R channels on one end and a stereo miniplug on the other. The "Owners Manual" is a little 2 page sheet with only pictures and it shows an AUX 3.5mm minijack which might be mistaken for an input, but that's the output I'm using to connect to an older Sony receiver using the Sony's CD dual RCA input jacks. It paired immediately with my tablet and works fine. But this is the opposite of what you want to do.
