the length (within reason) will have no impact with this device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.RCA cables are line-level audio cables, so they handle fairly low power signals. That said, I have not had a problem using long cables, like 20 feet. Just make sure the cable is good, connections are clean, and don't string together too many cables. If you want to go really far you may need to build your own cables. I've seen housing cables that connect different rooms together, so you could run them all over the house.
