These speakers are acoustically ported, which means the back of the driver has an air path to the front through the port. If you mean, "Are they magnetically shielded?", the answer is no - they have plastic housings.

If you are looking for high quality loud sound, these are not the speakers for you. Whether or not you hear external interference in them is not solely determined by the speakers. There can be many other factors, but I would not assume these will solve your problem.
