• Yes it is compatible. And, yes it is plug and play. It has two cords. One is the power cord that you plug in a wall outlet. The second has the small round speaker/microphone plug that you plug into the computer at the end. No software to fool around with. Plug and play.

• Yes this will Plug and play. Just be sure you have a power outlet near by as it uses external AC power adapter.
