There are several reasons the rear speakers could not be producing sound: 1)The Audio you are trying to output is not 5.1 compatible 2)Your computer may not have properaly set your speakers to 5.1, to change this go into your playback sound settings, right click the speakers you wish to change and click configure speakers. 3) The Rear speakers may be out, and you should return the product.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The music or movie has to be in surround or in 5.1 to make the back speakers work. Stereo programs will make the front left, right, center and the Sub woofer work. Play a 5.1 movie and see if they work then. A lot of movies use the back speakers for music and special sound effects.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Might depend on what's plugged into it, and how that is hooked up. As far as what I've tried, using an aux cord directly from a portable audio player into the green input on the subwoofer transmits to all speakers. However, plugging the portable player into a second stereo with an aux input and having a cord out of that stereo's headphone output going into these speakers does not transfer to the rear ones for some reason. It works from the stereo or portable player by itself though. Same goes for using inputs on the subwoofer other than the green one on top, some speakers will not work from a single cord plugged in to the other inputs, those are for combination plug-ins (I guess, mine didn't happen to have instructions)...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Had no problem on my TV (a Samsung). But it has a 3.5 mm audio out jack. I bought a set for my Dad and had to buy a digital to analog converter box, an rca to 3.5 mm Y converter cable, and a digital audio out cable just to hook up the sound system, and the back speakers still didn't work. So in addition to that, I had to use the left/right rca cables that came with the speakers. It sort of worked: all of the speakers work now except 1. My Dad's TV is a 2006 model. It's a Sanyo or something, not a smart TV, and it doesn't have the 3.5 mm audio out jack. Plus, I'm not sure his TV is 5.1 compatible. Hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Try plugging the speakers into a different outlet, and if that does not work return the set to best buy and tell customer service that there are faulty speakers. You can just return the speaker with a receipt and exchange it for the same model. I love the set when it's put together and would not recommend getting a different one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Is Windows still configured for stereo output?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you are certain the speakers are connected properly, then the product must be defective.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Try checking them out on your phone. FYI: I had to return mine, my peripheral speakers were extremely distorted. Personally I think Best Buy should remove this brand from their stores.
