Provided your TV has the proper out puts you can input it into the system. Though I do feel it is set up best for a Computer. The input from your TV could use the digital audio inputs or from the TV's headphone jack there is no HDMI

Yes. Use a digital optical audio cable for the best sound. If your tv supports optical audio that is. Otherwise the standard red and white cables are supported too.
