Hello icerider, The Z906 speakers are not 2-way speakers in the classic sense. Each speaker in the system handles specific frequencies to create a 5.1 surround sound experience. The front and rear satellites have one-way drivers. The Z906 is primarily designed for gamers and their computers, but it is THX certified which means that it provides cinematic quality sound.
