This speaker system is designed for gaming computers. Best option is if you have 6 channel direct (3 x 3.5 mm) on your computer. Though for some reason BB has them listed as home theater. My new gaming computer came with 6 channel audio and I did a lot of searching for speaker systems and this is pretty much the only one I found designed for computer gaming. It sounds amazing. (not full on AVR home theater amazing). The first game I tested it on was an FPS and I could hear people walking behind me.
