“My incoming audio (to the earpiece) is muted when I have the mic in the Up (mute) position. Is there a way to still have incoming audio with my microphone muted. Noticed this when in meetings (in microsoft teams) and connected via blutooth.”

Seems like you have the Logitech - Zone Vibe 100 instead of the 125, maybe. This happened to me, but I was able to return the 100s and get the 125s. Music and sound work with microphone in the up position.
