QuestionWhat is the frames per second(FPS) for 4k recording ? On product description it says 30 fps, I am assuming its 30 fps at 1080p recording.

- Answer At 4K it’s 15fps and at 1080 it’s 30fps.

- Answer I received my system yesterday, it comes with 100 feet of wiring for each camera. this is a very nice system, will provide a review once I have this installed and running.

QuestionCan the lights on the cameras be disabled or do they always turn on with motion?

- Answer The motion light can be disabled in the settings. You can also adjust how long they stay on for after a motion detection event or switch between a constant light or strobe feature.

- Answer The Lorex POE system comes with several 100 ft rolls of Ethernet cable. Yes and it does continuously record. What I like about system is that you can turn notifications off but still recording. Great system. I had the Arlo wireless system before this and would highly recommend lorex over any wireless system.

- Answer The NVR provides it so all u have to do is run your cat5 wire from NVR to camera and u got power.

QuestionIs there two way audio? How good is the audio?

- Answer Yes, 2 way audio. I had some difficulty getting the mic to work consistently on the app. Speaker volume is a little weak but my cameras are fairly far from people. I did expect to be louder. There is some delay in video on app so having an actual conversation is probably difficult. I have actually tors that yet.

- Answer No service contract. No monitoring company. The system records to a hard drive and you can set up notifications via the app to view events such as motion of people, vehicles.

- Answer The system I have is the same and they will not support wireless but you can wire 2 more cameras to that system because it is a 8 channel system

- Answer I don't know if it comes in 1 T. Mine is a 3 T, and it may need it if you are recording everything and not being selective with what you record. It is programmable.

- Answer Hello. The maximum run on the CAT 5 media is 300 feet. The system comes with four 100 foot spools of CAT 5 cable. However, if you require longer cable runs with this system, you would probably have to purchase an extender through Lorex or another comparable source..

- Answer Viewing on a phone or a color monitor are in color. You won't see 4K unless you have a 4K monitor, but you can also hook it to your 5k TV with HDMI. Even without 4k the picture is very clear.

- Answer No monthly charge is required to use the cameras or Lorex app. Power is provided through the Ethernet cables. These are wired cameras therefore when watching from the included dvr, there is no delay. Watching through your phone may cause a slight delay depending on your internet connection speed. I’ve had mine a few months now and like them a lot. Note that when recording in 4K with 6 cameras, it uses the dvr space quickly. Can’t store more than 2-3 days. Turning the quality down will allow more storage. Hope this helps.

QuestionThese cameras were installed today by Best Buy. In night time, I don’t see camera gets turned when there is a motion. I am using Lorex home app in iPhone. I don’t see the option.
