Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I used standard CAT-6 Ethernet cable straight out of a box, and put my own connectors on each end for my installation. You could probably use CAT-5e cables, but I opted for the extra interference resistance of CAT-6. Also, "real" (as opposed to "fake"/intentionally-mis-labled) CAT-6 cables tend to be a little better quality, so I was hoping for less power loss for my longer runs, as this system is using Power-over-Ethernet to power each camera.
