- Answer If you want to monitor for facial recognition or license plate legibility you should place the camera about 40 feet away max. You can also have it further away and manually set the PTZ zoom feature specifically on the object you wan't to closely monitor.

QuestionI am considering purchasing Model: LHA21162TC8B, Camera bundle. I want to double check that this camera addition will be compatible with Model: LHA21162TC8B. I am unable to find the model number of the DVR included with/for Model: LHA21162TC8B bundle.

- Answer This is a wired analog camera which uses BNC cabling which must be connected to a DVR. You would be able to monitor the camera feed from your iPhone using the Flir Cloud app.

- Answer This camera is not compatible with the LH050 DVR. The LH050 is only compatible with wireless LWU3622 and LWU3624 cameras. This camera will work with a DVR700 series or LHV2000 series DVR and yes, you would be able to control the PTZ from your smartphone.
