• Interesting question. I do not think the holes on the bracket will line up with the holes on the tv if you use it so that it moves right to left.

• Didn't try but highly doughtful as the mount is not designed to be hung sideways.

• In a word, no. I can only see one way to swivel, vertically. You could mount the screw base sideways...I guess?
