A:Answeri use this strap with my canon 80D which is a pretty large camera. if the g7x is a smaller mirrorless camera type they make a slimmer version of this strap.
A:AnswerThere are two loops on the case -- one is as shown in the picture, the other (on the opposite end) is smaller.
I haven't tested them, so I don't know how effective they are.
