Yes. I used the switch for my Christmas lights and they are led. Need to buy the dimmer switch if you want to dim them.

Yes, the PD-6WCL dimmer that comes in this kit can control outside LED lights. Lutron recommends finding a compatible LED from either www.lutron.com/ledfinder or www.lutron.com/ledtool. If you use an LED that does not appear on either website, Lutron cannot guarantee compatibility.

I believe so. Though I don’t know why you would want a dimmable switch for an out side light. They do make just a wireless on/off switch you can control also
