• This Caseta kit will work as is, in that the Pico remote will pair to the dimmer in stand-alone. If you want to operate the lights from your smart phone, you will need to install the Caseta Smart Bridge, as well.

• Yes and no..... With out a bridge you can control your lights, dimmer, and set a preset brightness with the Pico remote center button. If you want want to control it with an app you will need some sort of a bridge. You can use a Lutron bridge, Wink Hub, Or HomeKit.
