• Yes, the PD-5ANS would be able to control this lighting circuit. The PD-5ANS is a neutral-required switch, so Lutron recommends ensuring you have a neutral wire available in the wall box prior to installation.

• Not necessarily. I have had issues with the PD-5ANS for 3 ways switches where there were more than 1 light bulb and I have not been able to solve it. Works fine with one bulb but once a 2nd bulb is added it works for a bit then stops working. Then I have to disconnect and reconnect power to the switch. Which is useless of course. In both cases I installed with the Pico in the 2nd location or with the old switch in the 2nd location and had the same effect.
