“This switch controls the underwater light in my pool,,, but,, how does it work? I press the bottom & a small light next to the switch comes on,, I press the top & nothing happens?”

• It seams like a wire may not be connected properly or loose. The top is the on switch and the bottom is the off switch and the small light on the side is the indicator that it is connected.
