My MacBook Air is very good for streaming. I don't use editing.

I have used to high performance computing and has performed really well and the laptop was cool all the time. Again, when running Adobe Premier on a machine with low memory, you may experience some lag. Getting a 512 GB ssd might be something that would avoid that situation. If you are aiming for rendering performance then pro is always the best. If you’re looking for getting the job done with a cheap laptop then Air is the best.
