New Max products typically have smart charging where it will slow down the charging once it’s reach 95ish percent but it still isn’t recommended you keep it on the charge for extended times after it reaches 100%

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only 1 way to fond out!! The best idea is to ask Apple. I have heard by several sources that it is best not too plug in you MacBook all the time, just when the battery runs low. Logically one may think that the battery might last almost indefinitely if always plugged in. This is what I tried to do with my 2011 MacBook Pro which still runs, but the battery is waning. I am only recharging when the battery is low on my new MacBook Pro .
