- Answer The MacBook Pro 13 that just came out with M2 is considerably weaker than this MacBook Pro. This MacBook Pro with M1 Pro is way powerful, also has better screen, mag safe charging, and more ports, and better speakers. The only thing that the 13 inch Mac has over this Mac Book is price and the Touch Bar.

- Answer definitely yes, the XDR mini led screen is perfect for photo editing and is not as small as the 13 'one and since it has dedicated hardware for encoding and decoding certain video formats (h.265, h.265, pro red raw) make it perfect for video editing, if you come from a previous model based on Inter you will see the difference

QuestionWith this Laptop can you use an iPad air as a second monitor? I have seen where you can link the two together but on my current laptop (MacBook pro-2015) it will not allow you to do so. So I was wondering if this model will allow me to link the two.

- Answer I use adobe creative cloud with my MacBook and it easily outruns my desktop with a gen 12 i7. The M1 Pro is very speedy. I process about 400-500 photos from my Nikon Z6ii in raw each batch. It is surprisingly speedy and the screen is extremely nice. I use and like Asus products but you aren’t going to beat the screen on the MacBook for the price. I hope this helps.

- Answer it depends on what applications that you are going to use. Applications like Microsoft Office, Teams, Zoom etc. will not have any issues, but specific application like Eclipse and its IDE may not be fully work with M1 chip. You can check the app compatibility at "Is Apple Silicon Ready?" (https://isapplesiliconready.com) website before you make the buying decision.
