• Almost every external hard drive can be used. Would be harder to find one that doesn’t work with it.

• Anything that is thunderbolt 4 or usb-c will go directly on the laptop. Or just about anything if you have a thunderbolt 4 or usb-c hub with the ports specific to your external hard drive

• Get a dongle and connect a USB 3 type external HDD or get a external HDD with TB3 interface and directly to MBP
