Does the sides of this fridge get hot? null

Yes there are coils that are located all alongside the sides of the refrigerator. These coils heat up as the unit's interior cools down and this is considered normal. As long as you leave the required spacing requirements of 5" along the sides and rear of the refrigerator, there is no hazard.
