“Is this tripod compatible with the Canon PowerShot SX 720?”

• I have a Sony RX100, which appears to be approximately the same size, at it works very well with that. The tripod has an industry standard 1/4″-20 screw thread. If the Canon PowerShot SX 720 uses that it should be good. Per Wikipedia: "Per ISO 1222:2010,[1] the current tripod screw thread standard for attaching the camera calls for a 1/4-20 UNC[2] or 3/8-16 UNC thread.[3] Most consumer cameras are fitted with 1/4-20 UNC threads."
