“Does this come with a quick release plate? I ordered the open box version of this tripod and it did not come with one. I had Best Buy ship another tripod (same model) and no quick release plate again.”

Yes, mine had a quick release plate in the box. It was attached to the head

An ARCA Swiss plate might work if you get stuck without another option. That's kinda dumb, no plate is like selling a car with a wheel missing. Hope you get a fix to your problem.

Product does come with a quick release plate and 1/4" screw. It is unusual for a model to ship without one. Please call 201 818-9500 tech dept before returning.
