    Didn’t even last a year...

I’m only giving it two stars because I really like this tripod a lot, right up until the point it broke while on a shoot less than a year after buying it. Went to flip the legs around and found the latches are no longer catching appropriately. Seems the little tension mechanisms they use wore out on two of the legs. Since this is my second one in two years, I’m just going to give up on Manfrotto.

I have been looking for a reasonally priced tripod, and this fits just right for what I wanted to spend and the quality of the tripod. It is built very well, can convert to a mono pod. It is not the lightest for travel, but it works to me. The ball head seems to be able to support my full frame camera and long lens. This works well for steady tripod work.

I purchased for stability of a 70-200mm lens and camera. It is very sturdy and supported the weight. Easily switches to monopod.

It's great for travel. Doesn't weigh too much. I wouldn't call this the one and only tripod for everyone, but it is close to professional for an enthusiast shooting stills.

I’ve used it once and it seems to be ok for the price it’s nice it folds down to a real small size so it fits onto my backpack almost it pans real fluidly compared to my cheap amazon tripod. It comes with a bag but it’s jot as nice as the be free bags which sucks cause they cost the same price and with this one you get this piece of s***t bag that has a draw string and not a zipper. But the tripod is defiantly nice quality the few times I’ve used it so far

This tripod is great and big upgrade over my old tripod. It has the ball head which makes it easier to level the camera. The weight of the tripod is good enough for my camera equipment. It is sturdy and very stable. It also has replaceable feet stakes to get better grip on dirt.

Best Tripod Ever. Super solid and sturdy. Supports even the larger 400mm lenses very well. Can transform into a monopod as well which is handy for hiking and bird photography.

I needed a tripod that is lightweight, easy to manipulate, and had built-in levels. This tripod met those expectations. Though the tripod is lightweight, it is very sturdy. The feet of the tripod can convert into spikes for instances where you need to take your set-up off a paved surface. There is a hook at the bottom of the middle column to add additional weights if needed to further stabilize the tripod. The built-in level works for both portrait and landscape grips. All in all, I am very satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend this tripod to photographers who are constantly on the move.

You can get lighter and more compact, but trade off cost and stability. I think this pod is a good blend. I got it on sale and took advantage of a buy 3 camera accessories and get one at 25% off to really save on this. It seems stable and folds well. Time will tell how easy it is to use in the field as I just got it and haven’t really been able to use it.

The tripod is one of the best-kept secrets! It's strong enough for almost any DSLR camera and able to support my entire 3 axles gimbal dual handle setup that includes stereo mic amp, LED light kit, 7" monitor, batteries and attachments. This tripod is full size in height but reduces to a size that fits in my bag. With all that said, it's light weight, has a professional look with a decent price point for the average consumer.

I have a monopod and tripod from this line of Manfroto supports. This was purchased for my son's girlfriend who is becoming quite the photographer. They camp regularly and I knew she needed a sturdy and lightweight tripod. From my past experiences I knew this would be of great use to her. She loves it and uses it regularly. Although it is no carbon fiber, it is still lightweight enough that she is able to take it camping with ease. Of course she and my son are much younger and much more energy than I do.

I’m 6’3”. At it highest setup with a Nikon D870/ 28-300 zoom it’s very steady wide stance legs. Folds up into a nice size for transport and very light weight. The only downside to this are to many adjustments to make tight . It is still new to me so there is to many adjustment joint need to loosen to move and retighten to secure/ to much thought need when you need to think about taking pictures under pressure I like it. But you do need to pay attention what you got

My daughter and I recently started trying to do night time and long exposure photography. I wanted a tripod sturdy enough to handle most conditions. We bought two of these and have used them a few times photographing the MilkyWay. I’m very pleased with this product!

Well made quality product. Will definitely be proud to own. Smooth precise movement with a weighty feel exudes premium quality. Heft allows this tripod to function in breezy conditions while providing a solid foundation for your equipment. My only complaint is that the telescoping legs loc with a screwing motion verses the cam levers that are quicker to set up.
