Didn’t even last a year...
|Posted .Owned for 11 months when reviewed.Features
Quality1 out of 5Value3 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I’m only giving it two stars because I really like this tripod a lot, right up until the point it broke while on a shoot less than a year after buying it. Went to flip the legs around and found the latches are no longer catching appropriately. Seems the little tension mechanisms they use wore out on two of the legs. Since this is my second one in two years, I’m just going to give up on Manfrotto.

I love the Elements line from Manfrotto
|Posted .Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I have a monopod and tripod from this line of Manfroto supports. This was purchased for my son's girlfriend who is becoming quite the photographer. They camp regularly and I knew she needed a sturdy and lightweight tripod. From my past experiences I knew this would be of great use to her. She loves it and uses it regularly. Although it is no carbon fiber, it is still lightweight enough that she is able to take it camping with ease. Of course she and my son are much younger and much more energy than I do.

Portable and stable platform
|Posted .Owned for 6 months when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5A lot more than I was expecting at this price point. The head is excellent and maintains adjustments. Very flexible usage scenarios, and the vernier scale is a nice feature for building high resolution panoramas, ensuring good overlap for stitching composite images. Excellent fit and finish, and very portable and stable platform.

Great for Outdoor Photographers
|Posted .Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I needed a tripod that is lightweight, easy to manipulate, and had built-in levels. This tripod met those expectations. Though the tripod is lightweight, it is very sturdy. The feet of the tripod can convert into spikes for instances where you need to take your set-up off a paved surface. There is a hook at the bottom of the middle column to add additional weights if needed to further stabilize the tripod. The built-in level works for both portrait and landscape grips. All in all, I am very satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend this tripod to photographers who are constantly on the move.

Good tripod
|Posted .Owned for 1 year when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I own the upper version of this for my Canon DSLR and could not be happier. This came in 75% less and is almost as good as that unit. Just does not have the features but they are not missed for my use. I use with GoPro and works great. Small compact unit with bag makes transport east. Sets up in seconds.

Quality4 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5My daughter and I recently started trying to do night time and long exposure photography. I wanted a tripod sturdy enough to handle most conditions. We bought two of these and have used them a few times photographing the MilkyWay. I’m very pleased with this product!

Good travel tripod
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5The tripod looks beautiful. Looks to be well made. Have only used it a few times so far. It appears to be solid. Haven't had any stability issues. Nothing has come loose like other reviewers have experienced. Still trying to get used to the methods of deploying the legs. I don't have a huge camera (Fuji X-T2), so the weight capacity doesn't bother me. Overall, of day this was a good buy. I would definitely recommend to others if they're looking for a fairly compact, lightweight tripod.

Q: QuestionWill this tripod work for a guerrilla Pochade box for plein air painting?
Asked by DYg.
- A:Answer As long as your pochade box is tripod ready... I bought it to use with a Sienna plein air rig... I love this tripod. The connection is metal not plastic. Very sturdy legs, they don't bend. Not a fan of all of the screw in and out vs the clip release for the leg extensions but small price to pay considering those clips break at some point. I tried them all out in store. I've been on several plein air trips and some live event painting... I would go for it!

Q: QuestionI'm looking to start film making, and I have already purchased a Manfrotto 502 Video Head, Would I be able to attach that to any tripod?
Asked by Allison.
- A:Answer I think a 502 has a 3/8" thread, so kinda of, if you get a ball adapter for that type of tripod or a bushing if the tripod has a 1/4" thread. I would say however, you probably want a substantial tripod with that head. You probably want at least Manfrotto 055 legs at a minimum. It also depends on how much weight your setup weighs.

Q: QuestionIs this tripod good for Fujifilm X-T4 ?
Asked by Asma.
- A:Answer Of course... assuming that the Fuji camera has the bog standard quarter by 20 tripod socket. I have one of these Tripods, and I like it a lot. Use it on Olympus and Leica cameras.
