• In the 5015, the Subwoofer pre-out 2 is a mirror of the Subwoofer pre-out 1. In our SR6 Series (SR6015) the Audyssey software allows you to independently adjust Level per Subwoofer pre-out.

• Yes, they work independently and the amp you use - 2 - can have that function in the low frequency/power range. I personally don't see the need.
