“Can the NR1711 connect to a power amp with front, back, center and sub speaker outputs? There only seem to be pre-outs for front but not back speakers. Is there a way around this? What unit would be compatible with the described configuration?”

It can use all the speakers read the manual and it shows how to connect them its very simple process
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That is how it's wired up, they only give you pre-outs for the front channels. The newer replacement for this one, the 70s I believe it is, has preouts for all channels.
