“How is the 3D sound? Does this have several multi surround sounds? Like change to sim surround, live, hall. Stereo, surround, club, Theater? My system now has it but keeps going out with very loud sounds from 3D video. Can you control on remote”

The NR1711 does not support specific simulated sound modes such as concert halls, dance club, and etc. It does support a number of multi-channel decoders for stereo to multi-channel or the reverse of multi-channel to stereo. For details, go online and review the manual for the unit and read section starting on page 119. I believe all the individual channels for sound levels are supported to adjust to your taste.
