yes, you can, use preout from the AVR and add amps very easy to do, buy RCA cable (single) version. good quality with shielding to avoid interference.

Yes you can, plug it into the preouts, then go to amp assign for which speaker you want to use. I use mine to give me a 7.1.4 system.
