• The Stanmore has RCA in jacks. This only has a line in jack. Technically you COULD use an RCA to 3.5 adapter but the Stanmore has the jacks built in.

• Hello Danielle, thanks for your question. A pre-amp is required to use a record player with any of the Marshall Speakers, other than that, as long as the record player has an output that is compatible with one of the speaker's inputs, then the two devices can be used together. If you want to be sure, head into your nearest Best Buy and speak with a store representative for assistance.
