- Answer Hello there, thanks for your question. The Emberton II does not have a 3.5 mm aux input, only Bluetooth. This is not a WiFi speaker so the spotty internet shouldn't affect its functionality.

- Answer Hello WillyWash, Yes, different placements of the speaker against and on different surfaces will effect the sound. Try a few and find your favourite sound dynamics.
