    • Answer Thank you for your question and we hope all is well. That backbox will not work as there are no provisions on EMIC to attach that box. We, unfortunately, don't have a back box available for the EMIC. That is something that we've been working on to have available on all future models, but we apologize that it's not something we have for this model.   • QuestionHow do these enclosures mount to a ceiling? Can they be pre-mounted to ceiling joists prior to drywall being installed? These are for NEW construction. Thank you.

    • Answer Hello. Thank you for your question, and we hope all is well. These back boxes are designed to attach to the back of the speaker and are a great option for sound control. Unfortunately, the sound coming from the back of the speaker doesn’t disappear and can distract those in the rooms above the speakers. For these situations where sound control is desired, these retrofittable back boxes are the perfect solution. They offer 20dB of noise reduction into adjacent areas. We do, however, offer ceiling mount brackets that are great options for new construction. The bracket that works with the MC6-HT is the C6HTBRK. Note these do come in a 2-pack.
