I preordered this edition today, after first calling Best Buy corporate to ask them this same question, as it confused me too. The rep I spoke with said I will be getting an email before the game releases that will have a code to download the full game on Sept. 1. He said that I will still get the physical copy in the mail but that the code will allow me to download the game - so it's possible the disc is superfluous in this case. As of yet, I have not gotten a code in my email, so I will update this response in a few days after I hopefully get it. I presume it goes to the email you use during checkout, in my case it was my member email. Hope this helps.

Best Buy have no plans to fulfill physical Deluxe orders 72 hours ahead of the 9/4 release date despite multiple claims on the store page on both text and images. The stores will not be receiving physical editions until 9/4. I'd recommend buying digital if you want guaranteed early access

Please try again later.UPDATE: I ordered my copy a week ago but still haven't gotten a separate code in my email, just the beta code, so I think the other comment was correct in assuming that was the case. I did get access to the beta this weekend though, so that worked well. Now, as it says above, it seems this Deluxe Edition copy is officially scheduled for release and delivery on September 1st, as advertised. It seems Best Buy fixed the issue directly themselves and I hope they are able to hold to that.
