Marvel’s Avengers will be available on September 4th, 2020 for PlayStation 4, plus PlayStation 5 owners can upgrade to the PS5 version of the game at no additional cost. A: I preordered this edition today, after first calling Best Buy corporate to ask them this same question, as it confused me too. The rep I spoke with said I will be getting an email before the game releases that will have a code to download the full game on Sept. 1. He said that I will still get the physical copy in the mail but that the code will allow me to download the game - so it's possible the disc is superfluous in this case. As of yet, I have not gotten a code in my email, so I will update this response in a few days after I hopefully get it. I presume it goes to the email you use during checkout, in my case it was my member email. Hope this helps.
Q: Does this come with the Marvel legacy outfit pack?
A: As the other person said, all preorder editions are supposed to come with the Legacy Outfit Pack according to official sources, but it would be nice if Best Buy's product description listed it. That's the only thing that makes me hesitant to purchase it from Best Buy since I've had another retailer try to say they wouldn't honor the preorder bonuses for a different game because they weren't listed on the page. (The game in question may or may not be made by the same company as Marvel's Avengers...) Q: Is an internet connection required for the single player game?
A: Internet is required for multiplayer and one time to play the campaign. I'm assuming it's to download content needed for the game, I just know this because the description says it has to go online one time before the single player can be accessed
