A:Answer The OP problem wasn't that their garage got to cold, it was that their garage got too hot. The manual states that it should be in an environment that is between 55 and 110 degrees. A garage in southern states can hit well over 110 degrees in the summer. This is going to burn out the motor. I live in SoCal and we have about 3 weeks a year with temps around 108 degrees. During that time I keep our side door to the garage open with our security door locked (it's mesh) and have a small industrial style fan circulating air. No issues. But if you live in Arizona and have several months of 112+ degrees, you cannot have this in the garage. Also keep in mind that the hotter the temperature, the lower the viscosity of the oil in the motor. So it is going to break down much easier.
