- Answer I am not sure if you can but mine came with it and what I did was just not hook it up to the water line or put in the ice tray. So as long as you do that you are fine.

QuestionI need to know the width at the hinge when the door is open 90 degrees, I know the handle needs 2.5" to clear, but where I need to install this fridg the door handle will clear the stub wall. I have 30 5/8 wide where the hinge will be on the will. Thanks

- Answer Hi Clinton. When installing your refrigerator next to a fixed wall, leave 2¹⁄₂" (6.3 cm) minimum on the hinge side (some models require more) to allow for the door to swing open. Hopefully this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Maytag appliances!
