QuestionI have an old maytag model mmv1153bas, it's currently setup to vent to the outside of my house. Can this be setup as the same or do I have to buy more parts for that to work?? Thanks

- Answer Elsa, the grease filter is located underneath the appliance. The charcoal filter is located behind the vent grille. - Answer It's only been 2 weeks since installation. I've only warmed coffee and foods in it so far. I did wipe out a little splash of spaghetti sauce and it cleaned the same as a non metal interior. I needed a zero clearance microwave as it opens against a wall. This works perfect and looks great!

QuestionI was told to take the rack out of the microwave if I am only cooking one item. I am concerned because it is a metal rack. Do I have to have an item on the rack and one on the glass turn table.

- Answer The way I interpret the instructions is to only use the rack when I have food on it, otherwise it stays out of the microwave. In general you should not operate a microwave unless there is something to heat in it (i.e. on the turntable.)
